The deadline for enrollment in the Master of New Technologies of the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid opens. For the first time this year the master will have a month and a half of registration period, from today May 14 to June 30. This is the first Official Master’s Degree taught in Spain, dedicated to contemporary music, in which composers and interpreters work together in the creation and interpretation of new musical works, using the new technologies that in contemporary music uses. In this master you have the opportunity to train in Contemporary performance techniques, Performance with instrument works and electroacoustics, Sound reinforcement and performance with multimedia resources, Multimedia production and post production, all in a very complete study plan that you can see here. It is a master’s degree that takes place over 18 weekends on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, so that it allows you to carry out your work activity, and also 4 to 6 concerts are scheduled each year, at the end of the semesters, with the necessary means to play with all kinds of works with live electronics, video, cinema, live electronic transformation etc.
Access test will be in September and here you can find the access requirements and content of the tests, which also allow the option of taking them electronically (with videoconference), which is ideal for people residing far from Madrid or in other countries.
